Chemical Bonding
Molecules are made up of sub-units called Atoms, in case you were interested. (You probably are because you're reading this). That means that every molecule is made up of two or more atoms bonded, or linked, together. There are several types of possible bonds between atoms and I have made separate pages for each of the major types. Just click on one of the links below to read more in much greater detail.
There are also other kinds of bonds that do not directly link atoms within a molecule but rather create links between molecules or separate parts of larger molecules. These types of bonds tend to be much weaker than the intermolecular bonds that form molecules.
